We began 2010 with (US)$1001.16 in the bank, by year's end our account balance stood at US$2563.98, indicating a gain in value of US$1562.82. The maintenance and increase in value of our account was due, in part, to DVD and book sales, but in greater part due to extremely generous donations we received. In the course of the year we were able transfer $2550.00 from our Paypal account, generated from DVD sales and some donations.
Our 2010 ending bank balance of US$2563.18, plus a Paypal balance of roughly US$300, means that -assuming that mailing costs remain at raround $400, and taking into account fixed expenses such as ISP and bank fees ($2400 and $132 per annum, respectively), and barring any other charges and unforeseen events- we conservatively have sufficient funds to securely cover 6 to 8 months of MIA operations. Thanks to donations we are in a financially stronger position at the start of 2011 than in previous years.
