Song Renqiong (宋任穷; 1909 - 2005), a veteran of the revolutionary war, he was an alternate member of the Politiburo elected by the 8th Central Committee of the CCP, secretary to the Central Secretariat of the 11th Central Committee, head of the Organization Department of the Central Committee, and full member of the the Politburo of the 12th Central Committee. He also served as Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
