Dear Comrades! Hearty thanks for your comradely greeting. The situation in Europe is extremely disturbed. The ruling bourgeoisie is showing more and more clearly that it is incapable of ensuring any sort of peace and order for the peoples. The danger of new blows against the Soviet Union is extremely great. Should danger thrust itself upon us, I shall count confidently on the Red Army men, commanders, and political workers of the artillery units of the West-Siberian Military District.
