September, 2001: We're back on-line after 3 weeks! We're trying to make up the time by getting our new “Marxists CD 2002” ready for production by the end of October

 

30 September, 2001: The Leon Trotsky Internet Archive had added the following two pieces:

Speech on Brest-Litovsk (1918)
Peace Negotiations and the Revolution
The Case of Leon Trotsky (1937- the complete stenographic report of the famous Dewey Commission).

27 September, 2001: The Leon Trotsky Internet Archive had added Trotsky’s 1934 essay on the Assassination of Kirov

25 September, 2001: The History Section of the Marxists Internet Archive has added several new documents to the History of the Black Panther Party in the United States.

25 September, 2001: The Marx-Engels Internet Archive has added Engels timely1857 article on Afghanistan

25 September, 2001: Two very important sections of the Marxists Internet Archive has been reorganized, redeveloped and updated. These are the Volunteer Worshop section and the Introduction pages which include our Charter,Steering Committee information and other data of interest to users of the MIA.

22 September, 2001: With the addition of Engels' article Contribución a la historia de la Liga de los Comunistas and letters to Otto von Boenigk (21 Aug., 1890) and J. Bloch (21 Sept., 1890), we finish adding what amounts to Volume III of Editorial Progreso's Marx-Engels Obras escogidas, en 3 tomos to the Spanish-language Archivo Marx-Engels. [Thanks to Juan R. 21 September, 2001: We have added a biography and a "zipped" .doc version of the book Actualización del Programa de Transición to the Spanish-language Archivo Nahuel Moreno. [Thanks to Patricio Vallejo and Grupo Socialista Guernica of Argentina.]

23 August, 2001: We've started building the long anticipated Eugene V. Debs Internet Archive. Debs was the founding father of the Socialist Party of America and one of the founders of the Industrial Workers of the World. We are working in collaboration with the Illinois Socialist Party in jointly building this archive.
Here are the first set of documents:

August — ongoing, 2001: All this month we have been working hard on correcting link problems — our annual spring cleaning task. With over 21,000 files in the archive, there inevitably crop up link errors—errors we want corrected as soon as possible. By September, we plan to ready our 2001 Marxists CD Archive for widespread distribution.
