October, 200225 October, 2002: The V. I. Lenin Internet Archive has added 3 more documents from Volume 31 of Lenin’s Collected Works. Speech Delivered at a Congress Of Leather Industry Workers, October 2, 1920
25 October, 2002: Added to the Marx-Engels Correspondence for 1868: 48 new letters (including some which were formerly presented just as abstracts)
In April/May, Engels was writing a Review of Capital for the Westminster
Review, and for his own purposes, compiling a Synopsis of Capital.
The collection includes a priceless exchange of letters between Marx and Engels
at this time, as Engels questions some aspects of Marx’s theory and Marx
explains it, he also encourages Engels not to oversimplify, and talks about his

18 October, 2002: Added to the Marx-Engels Correspondence for the period November 1864-December 1867:
53 letters including material about the International Workingmen’s Association
which Marx joined in November 1864. The letters also include (nov-dec 1867)
some interesting comments on the latest Fenian exploits in London, efforts to
promote Capital Volume I, Laura’s impending wedding to Lafargue, Engels’
chuckle at Marx not knowing how much he owed, discussion about evolution and
the influence of soil-type on the development of races (sic!).
18 October, 2002:
In the Women and Marxism Archive has added Myra Page’s Soviet Main Street,
a 1933 non-fiction work based on her own experiences in Podolsk during the first Five-Year Plan, later an inspiration for her literary work.
17 October, 2002:

family for the past few years. 13 October, 2002: We have added a reference archive for the works of activist journalist, Anna Louise Strong (1885-1970). Texts archived include selections from her work as a labor activist in Seattle, as well as her experiences living in Soviet Russia and finally China: No One Knows Where, 1919
12 October, 2002: The V. I. Lenin Internet Archive has made progress in the last month. In addition to cleaning up bad links and anchors, we’ve completed all of Volume 23, from August 1916 - March 1917, covering all of Lenin’s writings leading up to and including the February 1917 Revolution. Additionally we have started work on Volume 31, the Spring and Summer of 1920, during the darkest period Civil War. From this volume we’ve added the first set of documents and reformatted some of the ones from this volume that were transcribed previously, such as Left-Wing Communism, An Infantile Disorder, Lenin’s defense of the tactic of the United Front and against it’s ultra-left opponents:

Trotskyism On-Line has completed work on George Jan
Lerki’s famous 1964 book The Origins
of Trotskyism in Ceylon (Sri Lanka). This was one of the
first academic works on one of the few mass Trotskyist movements
anywhere in the world. We have added the table of contents/preface
and the first two chapters.
