7 May 2003:
Ban Chemical Weapons! Such is the call of this 1984 book
published in the Soviet Union, detailing Soviet efforts to rid the world, everyone
included, of these weapons of mass destruction. Meanwhile, the US was supplying
Iraq with chemical weapons, and building up its own stockpile. This material has
been added to the Soviet
Goverment section of the Soviet History Archive, in a section called
