26 January 2004: Announcing the new History of the German Revolution—1918-23 Subject archive. The archive will contain speeches, documents and photographs from the period of revolutionary upheaval following the end of World War I in Germany together with contemporary analysis and more recent histories of the period when Rosa Luxemburg and Karl Liebknecht were murdered, and Soviet governments set up in parts of Germany.

24 January 2004: A new Thai Section of the MIA was set-up, unannounced last year. We wanted to point this out and update our readers of this event:

Including translations provided by Giles U., a supporter in Thailand, some of which were previously published in What is Marxism Book 2 (2002) published by Workers Democracy Book Club, with works by Marx, Engels, Kollontai, Lenin, Cliff, Hallas and Trotsky.

2 January, 2004: A massive transcription project has been completed with the publication of The Soviet Union: Facts, Descriptions, Statistics. Published in Washington D.C. by the Soviet Union Information Bureau in 1929, this book canvasses all aspects of Soviet society with raw statical data and anaylsis. The book details everything from working hours in various industries, to what is playing in the Bolshoi Theater, to the various efforts underway to promote Women's rights.
