5 July, 2004: The Lenin Internet Archive is please to announce the final completion of Volumes 15 and 42 of Lenin’s Collected Works. We now have over 2000 documents, essays, books, polemicals, letters, newspaper articles and interviews written by Lenin. This brings the total number of completed volumes of the LCW to 29 on the Lenin Internet Archive. Currently Volumes 16, 34 and 36 are being transcribed by four volunteers. Production has been speeded up by the use of a script that allows for automatic formatting of the scanned text. These scripts were written by Robert Cymbala as part of his contribution to the LIA.
