30 June, 2004: Tomorrow is the first anniversary of the launch of the Farsi section’s activities. We now have 18 Marxists authors in addition to Marx and Engels (plus three in the reference section). We also have a large subject archive with an emphasis on working class issues (e.g., workers' control, strikes, councils, waged labour, trade unions and so on).
Our history section covers all the internationals and the Russian and Iranian Social Democratic and Communist movements - including many resolutions of the RSDLP and RCP(B).
The recently started educational section provides a structured programme for theoretical development for youth and others interested in Marxism. It links to content throughout the site.
In addition to developing the existing sections our plans for our second year include:
- Launching the encyclopaedia section in the next few
months.
- Extending the number of Marxist writers.
- Developing country sections in the history archive.
- Extending the number of reference writers.
- Converting more of the material to smaller PDFs and HTML.
We take this opportunity to thank all of you for your support and advice.
