We have learned that soldiers (in plainclothes, of course) received the order to mix in with the demonstration that students recently organized against Gordon McGregor. They were to listen in on conversations, make note of suspicious conduct, etc, etc.
We profit from this occasion to thank these brave soldiers of Her Majesty who contributed to giving this demonstration a considerable numerical importance. Nevertheless, we hope that they will one day take upon themselves the initiative to organize demonstrations. That day we will become policemen, and we’ll club them!
