This booklet is written from the standpoint of one who joined the revolutionary movement in the nineteen thirties. Those were days when socialism in the Soviet Union was being built with brilliant success – a success hailed by working people throughout the world. The booklet opens by referring to that and to the betrayal of socialism in the Soviet Union. It then breaks off to deal briefly with the history of British and U.S. imperialism in Australia as the background of the contention and struggle of U.S. imperialism and Soviet social-imperialism and the menace to Australia of Soviet social-imperialism.
