The following is the text of the letter received by the Communist Party of Canada (Marxist-Leninist) from two anti-revisionist youths.
We wish to state, by means of this letter, our warm support for CPC(M-L) and its political line.
In the recent municipal elections, we ran as candidates for the CPC(Revisionist). We came out as Communists and the Guelph Club was censured for our openness by the Central Committee of the Party.
We denounce the CPC(Revisionist) and its political line. We cannot support a Party which plays down the teachings of Marx and Lenin and erases their role.
We cannot support a party which suppresses ideological discussion.
In our experience, the CPC(Revisionist) is not a revolutionary party and does not further the cause of the working class. Its agenda rests on the most questionable reforms. Its Communism is not Communism but merely trade unionism. Its programme demonstrates only contempt for the working class.
Further, it is a party which is without vigour, in which there is no struggle. It serves only to frustrate those who believe in true revolutionary action. It is a party which has forgotten the dictatorship of the proletariat and even socialism
DOWN WITH CPC(REVISIONIST)
