The Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) of the U.S. and the Workers’ Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) of Norway have held joint meetings. The meetings were characterized by a friendly and proletarian internationalist atmosphere and confirmed the friendly relations between our two organizations. Our two organizations’ agree to further strengthen and develop mutual cooperation.
Unity between the CP (M-L) and the WCP (M-L) is based on Marxism-Leninism-Mao Tsetung Thought. We stand together in a common front against imperialism and social-imperialism and we have the same goal: victory for proletarian revolution and communism all over the world.
The CP (M-L) informed the WCP (M-L) on the struggle in the U.S.A. to establish a true proletarian, Marxist-Leninist communist party. The struggle to unite-all true Marxist-Leninists on the basis of a correct political, ideological and organizational line has made great progress recently. A strong Marxist-Leninist tendency towards unity has grown, in which the October League played the leading role. This unity culminated in the successful founding of the CP (M-L) this June.
The struggle against modern revisionism represented above all by the CPUSA, the Moscow party, is an inseparable part of the struggle to build the Party of the proletariat in the U.S.A This also holds for the struggle against those opportunist, revisionist currents who falsely label themselves “Marxist-Leninist” and “’revo1utionaries” while they in reality directly and indirectly support modern revisionism and Soviet social-imperialism.
The WCP (M-L) gives whole-hearted support to the important work carried out by the CP (M-L) to build the genuine Communist Party in the U.S.A. The WCP (M-L) declares that the struggle to build the true Marxist-Leninist Communist Party in the U.S:A. is especially important, because it is a struggle to establish the revolutionary vanguard of the proletariat and the laboring masses in one of the two superpowers.
The struggle waged against U.S. imperialism inside the U.S. itself constitutes a powerful support to the proletariat, peoples and oppressed nations of the whole world who fight against imperialism, social-imperialism and all reaction.
The proletariat and the labouring masses in the U.S.A. are more and more exploited by the American monopolist bourgeoisie. In connection with the protracted crisis in the U.S., the American imperialist bourgeoisie has carried out an endless series of measures to make the proletariat and the laboring masses bear the burden of the crisis. But exploitation and oppression leads to resistance, and the laboring masses of the U.S.A. have steadily increased and raised the struggle to fight back against the attacks of the bourgeoisie.
The CP (M-L) informed the WCP (M-L) about the advance of the struggle of the Afro-American people against racism and national oppression and for self-determination. The imperialist U .S. bourgeoisie brutally oppresses the Afro-Americans and also various national minorities. Racist violence, deportations, police terror, cultural oppression, economic plunder and all forms of racist measures are increasingly being carried out to oppress the Afro-Americans and the many various national minorities in the U.S.A.
The movement fighting to free Gary Tyler is one of the foremost expressions of the struggle against racism and oppression of the Afro-American people at this moment.
The WCP (M-L) warmly supports the struggle of the Afro-American, Chicano, Native American, Puerto Rican and Asian peoples and various other nationalities against racism and national oppression by the U.S. imperialist bourgeoisie. The CP (M-L) gives high priority to this struggle and is at its forefront. The WCP (M-L) wholeheartedly supports this.
The WCP (M-L) informed the CP (M-L) of the line of the Party and of the struggle waged by the proletariat and laboring masses of Norway.
The WCP (M-L) mobilizes the Norwegian working class to political and economic actions against the bourgeoisie in Norway. Thus the Party prepares the working class for clashes with the class enemy so that, the class will be politically, ideologically and organizationally prepared for the proletarian socialist revolution.
The CP (M-L) gives full support to the class struggle waged by the Norwegian proletariat under the leadership of the WCP (M-L). The CP (M-L) further declares its full support to the struggle waged by the WCP (M-L) against modern revisionists and social-democrats who are the agents of the bourgeoisie and imperialism, among the working class.
The WCP (M-L) informed the CP (M-L) of the rivalry between the two superpowers over Norway. Through NATO, U.S. imperialism exerts steadily increasing military pressure against Norwegian sovereignty.
Along the borders of Norway in the East, Soviet social-imperialism has established enormous military forces. From the Murmansk base in the North, which is the biggest naval base in the world, the Soviet social-imperialists conduct regular military exercises to prepare landing of occupation troops in Norwegian territory.
Soviet Social-imperialism conducts systematic provocations against Norway on the Svalbard archipelago and in the Barents Sea to secure control over Norwegian territory.
The WCP (M-L) informed the CP (M-L) about the policy of the Party consisting in fighting against both imperialist superpowers, the U.S. and the Soviet Union, without relying on either of them and without relying on the Norwegian bourgeoisie. If the superpowers attack Norway, the line of the Party is that the Norwegian laboring masses have to rise in a national-revolutionary people’s war against the invader.
The CP (M-L) declared its full support for the WCP (M-L) in its struggle against the two superpowers, and states that in case Norway should be attacked by Soviet social-imperialism or by U.S. imperia1iun, the WCP(M-L) and the Norwegian people will have a solid ally in the revolutionary Marxist-Leninist movement in the U.S.A.
The CP (M-L) and the WCP (M-L) state that the modern revisionists are counter-revolutionaries and dangerous agents of imperialism in our times. Without struggle against modern revisionism there can be no struggle against imperialism, and for national liberation and socialism. We consider it our common task to combat revisionism the world over in the same manner we combat revisionism in our own countries.
The CP (M-L) and the WCP(M-L) both solidarity with socialist China and socialist Albania, as well as with the Chinese Communist Party under the leadership of comrade Hua Kuo-feng and the Party of Labor of Albania under the leadership of comrade Enver Hoxha.
These countries are outstanding examples of following the path of armed revolution and the dictatorship of the proletariat. They have won great victories in the struggle to prevent the re-establishment of capitalism, and in the struggle to consolidate the dictatorship of the proletariat and the construction of socialism. The Communist Party of China and the Party of Labor of Albania, have our full support as the parties at the forefront of the struggle against imperialism, social-imperialism, modern revisionism and all reaction.
The CP (M-L) and the WCP (M-L) convey their warmest greetings to the Communist Party of China and the Chinese people with the brilliant victory in the struggle against the Chang-Chiang-Wang-Yao “gang of four.” This victory has smashed the plot of the “gang of four” to restore capitalism in China and has consolidated the dictatorship of the proletariat.
The CP (M-L) and the WCP (M-L) declare that in the world today the revolutionary forces are on the advance. The growth of the proletarian-revolutionary movement both in the western imperialist countries as well as in the bureaucrat capitalist countries in Eastern Europe, the national liberation wars and the third world .Struggle against imperialism and social-imperialism, as well as the consolidation of the dictatorship of the proletariat in the socialist countries demonstrate this fact.
At the same time rivalry between the two imperialist superpowers, the Soviet Union and the U.S.A., becomes more and more intense. This rivalry over world hegemony and world domination shows that the superpowers are preparing a new world war. Both superpowers are mortal enemies of the peoples of the world. They are the greatest exploiters and oppressors of our time, and they are the only powers capable of launching a world war. This makes both of them the main enemy of the peoples of the world.
