Of course you’ve heard of The Militant, weekly newspaper of Trotskyism in this country. Like other revolutionary papers, The Militant runs at a deficit, covered over the years by loyal supporters. Recent skyrocketing prices have shot up production costs, while at the same time slashing into income from contributions. This has created a bad financial situation which The Militant staff hopes to overcome by raising a special fund of $15,000.
We take this occasion to call this Militant campaign to your attention and to express the hope that you will be able to make a contribution. Send it to The Militant, 116 University Pl., New York 3, N.Y.
