身处艰难气若虹

Nothing terrible could have snapped

at me  ev’r  since，

When I have such a clear

conscience as always；

I’m full of power and splendour

in any case，

Even still in great and

great difficulties。

注 （1）一韵到底——S；

（2）每行基本11个音节；

（3）一、三行用扬抑格，二、四行用抑扬格；

（4）ev'r即ever，所以写成ev'r，为了省一个音节，诗歌中的通融办法，用这个办法才能使音节统一起来；

（5）我不懂中、英文的诗律，因此只是尝试的习作。
