In this pamphlet we express some thoughts on the problems of class struggle in the United States and on the problems within the new communist movement. We do not pretend to lay out a complete class or political analysis of U.S. conditions. Even our analysis of the mistakes of the new movement is far from complete.
We do not approach this task with the surety that everything we say here is absolutely correct. We believe this begins to tackle real questions and generally reflects a proper approach to our responsibilities toward the class struggle. We hope that others will criticize this pamphlet and that this process will contribute toward a more thorough analysis of our tasks and direction for our work.
