Buffalo Workers’ Movement

Working Papers

Introduction

These working papers of the Buffalo Workers Movement were begun in March, 1976, as an attempt to write down our principles of unity. In the course of doing that, we began to study certain questions in more depth. As a result, we developed longer position papers on two questions – on women’s oppression and on the trade unions. These position papers have been included here. We are continuing to study, and hope to develop position papers on some of the subjects which are mentioned here only briefly.

Despite the unevenness of this document, we are putting it forward because we believe that it is important to have a written document setting forth these principles which unite us.
