Revolution is the main trend in the world today. The movement of the masses against imperialism and social-imperialism has intensified. The imperialist powers, ravaged by a crisis of their own making are preparing for war and of necessity are resorting more and more to open terror. But while in many countries the practical movement of the working class and oppressed peoples continues to advance, they have been held back by a lack of Marxist-Leninist leadership. That is, while the objective conditions for revolution have ripened, the subjective factor of communist organization and class consciousness has failed to keep pace. This is related, above all, to the betrayal of modern revisionists, who have politically and ideologically become agents of the bourgeoisie. Nowhere is this more evident than in the USNA where the diabolical traitors of the “CP”USA, faithfully representing their clientele in the labor aristocracy, have paralyzed the working class movement with white chauvinism and reformism.
Our task, then, is clear: we must form a Marxist-Leninist Party, a party which will fight relentlessly for the hegemony ox the proletariat and be capable of leading the working class in both legal and illegal struggle to the dictatorship of the proletariat. However, we will not be able to defeat imperialism without first defeating its agents in the working class. And, conversely, it is only by defeating USNA imperialism that we can deliver a steam-hammer blow against modern revisionism.
Moreover, we should not see the struggle against modern revisionism in an abstract fashion; we cannot stand by passively and expect the Chinese workers and peasants, the North Vietnamese or the colonies to liberate us from these traitors. On the contrary, our concrete task demands that we aim our fire at the “CP”USA, which is the main protector of USNA imperialism and an advanced detachment of Soviet social-imperialism.
What does this mean for us?
First, we must base our Party in the most exploited and oppressed sectors of the working class. As Lenin said, we must “sink lover and deeper” into the proletariat. We mast win over to Marxism-Leninism that sector of the proletariat that cannot move without opposing imperialism and whose interests are inextricably bound up with those of the oppressed peoples fighting for national liberation. In this way we can unite the vanguard of the proletariat against the labor aristocracy and the “CP” USA.
Second, we must expose the revisionist lie that the Soviet Union is a socialist country. We must point out that the evils of the present Soviet policy are not the evils of socialism, but those of a capitalist system which has been restored in the Soviet Union. At the same time, we must educate the proletariat about the heroic vanguard role of the Soviet working class and the achievements of the first dictatorship of the proletariat under Stalin. Finally, we must make clear that the present Soviet capitalist system will not he liquidated with reformist patchwork, but only when the revisionists have been overthrown and the dictatorship of the proletariat has been reestablished. Third, we must isolate the Brezhnev gang from the international communist movement. We must show hew the revisionist line of “peaceful coexistence”, “peaceful competition”, and “peaceful transition to socialism” is a cover for social-imperialism which cannot but lead to fascism. We must expose the legacy of modern revisionism which is written in the blood of the Chileans, Indonesians, and the Congolese.
As Karl Marx wrote, “The proletariat of each country must, of course, first of all settle matters with its own bourgeoisie.” (Communist Manifesto, FLP, Peking 1970, p. 45) An historic task confronts us. We must destroy the world’s bloodiest imperialist monster, the chief defender of moribund capitalism and the father of modern revisionism. This will be our greatest contribution to proletarian internationalism. And the revisionists know it. Otherwise, they would not be assaulting us with such ferocity, Their assaults, however, will only make us stronger and more, resolute, for by defeating these traitors we will strike a blow against both imperialism and social-imperialism, Based on the science of proletarian revolution, integrated with the most exploited and oppressed sections of the working class and united with the communist workers of the Soviet Union, we will inevitably destroy the world’s two most reactionary powers.
To quote our comrades the present-day Bolsheviks of the Soviet Union:
Long live our sacred red banner, the banner of the Socialist Revolution, the banner of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin!
Though the revisionists have tried to throw it into the mire, it is unsullied. Although they have tried to drag it down to their level, there are forces in the world who held it high, as it had to be – glory and honor to them. The hour is approaching when that banner will once again wave over the homeland of Socialism.
