The effort has begun to place the Communist Labor Party on the ballot in Michigan. 50,000 signatures of registered voters are needed by April 30, to guarantee success in this campaign—more than 6,500 signatures each week for eight weeks. The banner of “JOBS, PEACE, AND EQUALITY” has been raised, and now is the time for every comrade, every worker, every progressive to rally to this banner.

Not just the workers of Michigan need be involved in this ballot struggle. The ballot struggle is for every worker in the USNA. It is a struggle to give the working class another platform to voice their hatred of capitalism and the capitalist class which mercilessly exploits and oppresses them. The elections provide a platform from which to rally the masses to the cause of socialism.
