Racism in the OCIC

Conclusion

By seeing the examples in this document and those contained in “Racism in the PWOC, ” comrades should be able to see plenty of parallels in their own practice and draw out other examples that contain valuable lessons. The key to taking up the struggle against white chauvinism successfully is:
1. For white comrades to understand that the ideology of white chauvinism affects them as much as anyone else in U.S. society. White communists have no protective wall against bourgeois ideology. They do, however, have the tools, i.e., Marxism-Leninism, to take a systematic approach to its defeat among themselves and in the class.
2. For white comrades to break with the conspiracy of white chauvinism and commit themselves to assuming their responsibility to play the leading role in the struggle against racism and to struggle with other white communists and white workers against white chauvinism. To place the burden of the struggle on the shoulders of national minority comrades is to insure that the struggle fails.
3. For national minority comrades to become ever more sharp and consistent in waging the struggle, and fight against any form of accommodation and capitulation to white chauvinism.
4. For all Marxist-Leninists to realize that this struggle is not going to end within the next two months or by the end of next year. We have to continuously sharpen our tools and ability to wage the struggle against white chauvinism, for the ruling class is continuously sharpening its tools to promote it.
