The WCP(M—L) has severed party relations with the organizations KPD/ML (“Roter Morgen”) in West Germany and PCd’l(m-l) (“Nuova Unita”) in Italy.

The leaders of these two organizations side with the revisionist “gang of four” in China. The “gang of four” tried to seize power in the party and the state to overthrow the dictatorship of the proletariat and reintroduce capitalism. The leaders of these two organizations support the bitter enemies of socialism and of the Chinese working class.

The leaders of these two organizations slander the Marxist-Leninist central committee of the Communist Party of China led by comrade Hua Kuo-feng. They spread lies according to which a “rightist coup” has occurred in China, and they condemn the line of Mao Tsetung as “revisionist”. In the past years Soviet social-imperialism has unfolded a virulent campaign of lies and libel against the People’s Republic of China, precisely because Mao Tsetung’s CPC is the firmest support of all who fight against imperialism and for proletarian revolution. This campaign became even more virulent when comrade Hua showed he pursues and furthers Mao Tsetung’s correct line. It is in this situation that the leaders of the two organizations, the KPD/ML and the PCd’l(m-l), attack the CPC, repeating the arguments of the Kremlin propaganda machine. These leaders have become the aids of social-imperialism. The WCP(M-L) practises proletarian internationalism. The WCP(M-L) supports Marxist-Leninists of all countries, and therefore cannot maintain party relations with people who desert to counterrevolutionary revisionism and become the enemies of Marxist-Leninists.

The working class and the communist movements of Germany and Italy have proud traditions. We are convinced that the true communists of these countries will continue to advance despite certain leaders who desert to the enemy.
