Red Star

Red Star was published by the Red Women's Detachment, associated with the Marxist-Leninist Party. This latter group came out of the Michael Laski-led Communist Party USA (Marxist-Leninist) and should not be confused with the later Marxist-Leninist Party that came out of the Central Organization of U.S. Marxist-Leninists.
