Preface

This pamphlet has been written jointly by the Coventry Workers Association and Workers Newsletter Group because we believe that it is necessary to analyse the Labour Party critically from a Marxist standpoint at this time of debate about the struggle for Socialism within the Labour Party.

This pamphlet is a contribution to that debate and is intended particularly for those who believe the Labour Party can be the vehicle for socialism.
