Encyclopedia of Trotskyism On-Line: Revolutionary History

More sources

Dear Comrades,

May I add to the useful list of sources on the experience of the Trotskyists in France during the war, which you gave in your forward to the article by Rodolphe Prager on The Fourth International during the War in the last issue of Revolutionary History (Autumn 1988), the information that three of the writings which you mention can be had now in English translation.

These are:

Le Trotskysme, by J.J. Marie

Quelques Enseignements de Notre Histoire, by François de Massot

Les Trotskistes en France pendant la Deuxième Guerre Mondiale, by Jean-Pierre Cassard.

Translations in photo-copied typescript can be had from:

John Archer, Basement Flat, 69 Bromfelde Road, London SW4.

Yours fraternally,
John Archer

Another translation of the sections of J.J. Marie’s book dealing with the history of the Trotskyist movement after Trotsky’s death can be obtained by sending a cheque for £1.50 to the address of Revolutionary History.
