[1] Lenin’s study, “Capitalism in Agriculture (Kautsky’s Book and Mr. Bulgakov s Article),” was intended for publication in Nachalo, but upon the closing-down of that magazine it was published in Zhizn.

Zhizn (Life)—a literary, scientific, and political magazine published in St. Petersburg from 1897 to 1901; in 1902 it was published abroad. From 1899 onwards the magazine was in the hands of the “legal Marxists.”
