Dear Comrade Huysmans,
Please forgive me the delay in replying. A number of circumstances prevented me from writing to you earlier.
The translation of the Programme of the Russian Social-Democratic Labour Party which you sent me is, in my opinion, far from perfect. However, my own knowledge of French is so inadequate that I cannot venture to under take to correct the translation. Comrade Charles Rappoport (of the journal Le Socialisme) has kindly agreed to do this work. He will edit the translation and I hope to be able to send it to you soon.
As regards the meeting of the International Socialist Bureau, I vote for November.
My new address: Mr. Wl. Oulianoff
4. Rue Marie Rose. 4.
Accept, dear comrade, my most friendly greetings.
Le Socialisme—a journal put out in Paris from 1907 to June 1914. Its publisher and editor was the French Socialist Jules Guesde.
