Comrade Bryukhanov:

Today I am sending a dispatch to Pestun; take a copy of it from Glyasser. If there is also need for a C.C.   directive, let me have a draft of the whole text of the directive.

Return this to the C.P.C. Business Manager.

3/IX.

Lenin

Pestun, Chairman of the Gubernia Executive Committee, Gomel

I propose that you should carry out the directives of Svidersky and Reske in the most precise manner. I have information concerning a number of breaches by you of the rules of the central authority in the sphere of the People’s Commissariat for Food work. I warn you that I will hold you personally responsible if even a single breach of the rules and decisions of the centre is established, and if you fail to organise correct and concerted work together with Reske. Reply in a couple of words by telegram and give details by letter.

Lenin
Chairman, C.L.D.
