Daughter of aristocracy. Wife of Karl Marx. Mother to seven children, via her marriage to Marx: Jenny, Laura, Edgar, Heinrich, Franziska, Eleanor and one last child who died before being named. Only Jenny, Laura and Eleanor survived into their teens.
