Peking Review (1958-)

Peking Review [Beijing] and en Espaņol: Pekin Informa, from March 4, 1958 and continuing to the present, the People’s Republic of China has published a weekly English-language news magazine originally called “Peking Review”, and beginning with issue #1 in 1979 renamed “Beijing Review” after the Pinyin transliteration system was adopted. The magazine, reflectd the views of the Communis Party of China and was meant to co-ordinate their line for their supporters around the world grouped in various Communist Parties that looked to Beijing and not Moscow for guidance.
