International Socialism, February/March 1971

Editor

Letter to Readers

From International Socialism, No.46, February/March 1971, p.31.
Transcribed & marked up by Einde O’Callaghan for ETOL.

None of this issue’s contributors should need any introduction to regular readers. Jim Higgins and Ian Birchall, who both wrote in the last issue as well, are respectively a telephone engineer and a lecturer in languages, while Jim Kincaid lectures in Aberdeen.

We owe an apology for the late appearance of the last issue of the journal. This was due to difficulties over the installation of new, larger press in our printshop. Hence also the slight change in shape of the current issue.

As for the future, we already have in hand the continuation of Jim Higgins’ piece, which will look at the record of dual unionism in Britian. Also very much on the cards are pieces on the working class movement in Nigeria and on the Hungarian revolution.
