January 1, 2 Lenin dictates the article “Pages From a Diary”.
January 4, 6 Lenin dictates the article “On Co-operation”.
January 9, 13 Lenin dictates the first variant of the article “How We Should Reorganise the Workers’ and Peasants’ Inspection”.
January 10 Lenin instructs the Executive Secretary of the Council of People’s Commissars to request the Central Statistical Board to send him the figures of the census of Soviet employees.
January 16, 17 Lenin dictates the article “Our Revolution (Apropos of N. Sukhanov’s Notes)”.
January 19, 20, 22, 23 Lenin dictates the second variant of the article “How We Should Reorganise the Workers’ and Peasants’ Inspection (Recommendation to the Twelfth Party Congress)” and has it sent to press.
February 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Lenin dictates the article “Better Fewer, But Better”.
March 2 Lenin looks through his article “Better Fewer, But Better” and has it sent to press.
March 9 Lenin has another attack.
May 15 Lenin is moved to Gorki.
Second half of July Lenin’s health improves.
October 19 Lenin comes to Moscow for a few hours, goes to his study. On the way back to Gorki he visits the Agricultural Exhibition.
