Decree of the National Assembly, of April 16, 1790

The National Assembly again places the Jews of Alsace and the other provinces of the Kingdom under the safeguard of the law. It prohibits all persons from attacking their safety; orders municipalities and the National Guard to protect their persons and property with all their power.
