SOVIET WEEKLY


Soviet Weekly was published from 1942, the early days of the Soviet-British wartime alliance (as Soviet War News Weekly), to just before the collapse of the USSR in 1991.  It was published every Thursday by the Sovinformburo, the Press Department of the Soviet Union, at the Soviet Embassy in Britain.
