Tom Bottomore

Bottomore, Thomas Burton (T.B.) Brits socioloog en productief redacteur en vertaler van marxistische werken, met name zijn bundels gepubliceerd in 1963: Marx’s Early Writings en Selected writings in Sociology and Social Philosophy. Hij was secretaris van de International Sociological Association van 1953 tot 1959 en lid van de Britse Labour Party. Bottomore was redacteur van en heeft bijdragen geleverd aan talloze tijdschriften op het gebied van sociologie en politieke wetenschappen, waaronder de redactie van A Dictionary of Marxist Thought in 1983 en The Blackwell Dictionary of Twentieth-Century Social Thought in 1993.
